I am Brian Wardle. I started The Trident Project because I have been exactly where you are! When I left the Royal Navy I lost all sense of self worth and belonging and turned to substances to numb the loss. I've experienced first hand what the road to recovery looks like, and believe people recovering from addiction deserve more than generic advice — they deserve a disciplined, understanding team in their corner. Through Transformation Coaching, Personal Training and Nutrition, I help you rebuild your life one pillar at a time.

My story

I served in the Royal Navy. I learned discipline, resilience and what it means to have your team's back when everything is on the line. But I also Experienced first hand what happens when you lose your sense of purpose — and how hard it is to find your way back alone.
The Trident Project was born from one conviction: Helping Ex Service Personnel recover from addiction and find a way back that respects what they've already survived. Generic gym plans and shame-driven bootcamps don't cut it when you're rebuilding your identity from the ground up.
I do it differently. We start with how you feel about yourself — because no training plan survives a mindset that's been told for years it's not enough. We rebuild that first. Then we move the body. Then we fix the food. In that order.
If you've tried before and it didn't stick, that's not a character flaw. It's a signal you were doing it alone, or in the wrong room. I'm a different room.
